Lorenzi Park
Lorenzi Park is one of the oldest parks in Las Vegas. Once known as Twin Lakes, this park is a true oasis. This 'full featured' park has well maintained tennis courts, complete with a pro-shop. There are dozens of shaded, picnic areas with outstanding views of the park. The lake, while no longer 2 lakes, is still large and allows for fishing Blue Gill. There is a 3 fish limit. Summer league, night time softball is very popular in Las Vegas and Lorenzi Park has several softball fields. There are plenty of park type toys for children of all ages to play on. Lorenzi Park also has a Senior Center, The Sammy Davis outdoor theater and the Nevada State Museum. This huge park is centrally located in the Las Vegas Valley.
