 The Lakes part of Las Vegas is
located west of Las Vegas and centers around Sahara Avenue. It is called The
Lakes because the property developers created a series of man made lakes around
which they build homes, condos and apartments.
The Lakes are stocked with fish and are visited by Canadian geese and have a
permanent colony of what appear to be Mallard Ducks. A very nice setting. Access to freeways and other parts of Las
Vegas is great.
