Camping:
There are two campgrounds at the Valley of Fire. All campsites are available on
a first come, first serve basis. These campsites have shaded tables, water,
restrooms, showers and a dump station. The fees are payable at the camp site.
Group Camping:
The Valley of Fire has three group use areas which accommodate up to 45 each.
You must make advance reservations for overnight camping and for picnicking. For
information call Valley Of Fire State Park .
Picnicking:
The Valley of Fire has five excellent picnic areas that are shaded and with
nearby restrooms. They are located at, Atl Atl Rock, The Mouse's Tank trailhead,
the White Domes, the Seven sisters and the Cabins.
Visitor Center:
Open daily from 8:30 to 4:30. There are exhibits that cover local geology,
ecology history and prehistory. Books, post cards and other mementos
are
available. It is also possible to speak with people who know the place
well.

The road to the White Domes taken from Rainbow Vista. The direction is north and
the time is 12:30 on January 30 2003. The Rainbow Vista area is best taken in
the morning to get the best exposure to the sunlight but if you need shadows the
best time is just after noon. Any later than that and the shadows will be in the
way.
