Lake Mead Photos Rogers Spring
Rogers Spring is located along the North Shore road on Lake Mead. It is a hot spring which flows into Lake Mead. There are picnic grounds, barbeque areas and restroom facilities at this secluded spot.

Overlooking the Overton Arm at Lake Mead on a cold January morning, note the steam rising from the surface.

Rogers Spring is a favorite place with a lot of knowledgeable visitors who come back here year after year to visit and to look at the unusual fish and turtles in the pond.

As the small streams which originates at the spring flows down to Lake Mead, it water numerous palms and wildlife. This pool of water is not for swimming or drinking as it is not potable water. A group of bacteria unique to this spring inhabit these waters and may result in flue-like symptoms, or worse, if it is ingested.
