Desert Mallow
The Desert Mallow is a durable spiky branched bush found in several eco-communities in the desert.

Part of this plants success is its ability to act like an intrusion plant. This is evidenced by its appearance in disturbed surfaces along with other intrusion plants such as 'tumble weeds'.

This delicate looking red flower seems to bloom for a number of months with some flowers blooming long before others.
