Thomas Nevada, Ghost Town - Map
After some persistent digging through archives, I was able to
locate a copy of an early plot map of sorts of St Thomas at the
Special Collection Library at UNLV's Lied Library.
This is a quick scan of that document. Along with that we found
numerous other items of information including aritcles published
in the past. Due to time limitations, I have only been able to
post the map as it exists. It is off the north-south axis
considerably. I have been able to relate buildings and photos so
far. however, time limitations again cause this to set for
publishing sometime before the end of this October.
We have even found a 'Frank Perkins' - mentioned on the map -
'petroglyph' (after all this time) at the Valley of Fire and so
much other detailed information that it will take us several more
days to put it in publishable form.

From
what can be determined, this map is accurate regarding ownership
and location of parcels. It is basically "looking" from
the west bank of the Muddy River across to the east bank. We have
been able to correlate the photo of the 'Post Office' on this map
to what is published here on the Public
Buildings
page. The other buildings we are still confirming as to location
and photo.
