Lake Mead National Recreation Area Water Levels
The Colorado Basin is been under drought conditions for approximately 7-8 years. This is reflected in the water levels at Lake Mead. The Bureau of Reclamation measures the water levels in terms of elevation at Hoover Dam. The first chart shows the water levels at Lake Mead from 1935 until December 2006.
