Lake Mead National Recreation Area
Entrance Fees
The
National Park Service has 2 booths which collect very reasonable fees
near the entrance coming from the North Las Vegas direction using Lake
Mead Boulevard and
the south entrance coming from Henderson using Lake Mead Drive.
On busy days there are slight waits at these places during peak hours.
Be aware of this as it might change your time table a bit. To help
things move along people should have their money ready and the correct
amount.
The Park Service runs things as efficiently as possible. If you want to
lines to go faster then they would have to charge more.
If you are from Las Vegas, Henderson or anywhere in Southern Nevada, we
advise that you get an annual pass and plan to come out here several
times throughout the year because Lake Mead is open all year and all
seasons are equally attractive to visitors, boaters and except for in
the hot summer months, campers.
In the table below are a list of the fees that they charge to get into
Lake Mead. There are charges for vehicles and for boats of various kinds
The Park Service people also have maps and literature on Lake Mead which
is very useful in last minute planning for your trip.
These Fees are subject to change:
