The Sahara Hotel and Casino is one of the original, remaining Las Vegas Strip casinos. Since its opening in 1952, the Sahara has broken new ground in Las Vegas entertainment by hosting the most celebrated performers of their eras including Johnny Carson, Ann Margaret, Tina Turner, Don Rickles and the Beatles.

The Sahara is the perfect place for corporate meetings or conventions. Located near the Convention Center, Stratosphere, Circus Circus, downtown and the north Strip, the Sahara has the perfect location.

The Sahara has a spectacular 5,000 square foot pool with 13 private cabanas, circular fountains, a gazebo-covered spa and a snack bar that offers tropical refreshments. Pool hours are adjusted on a seasonal basis.

Rooms
There are 1720 rooms and suites at the Sahara. Each room is classically styled in the Moroccan motif. The accommodations are very comfortable and offer a variety of television options. The luxury suites are available in mini, one and two bedroom versions.

Room service is available from 6:00AM to Midnight. Catering service is available for events such as weddings, receptions and business parties.

Restaurants
Sahara Buffet This 900 seat, all you can eat buffet, has a casual setting. Brunch is served 7:00AM to 3:00PM, Dinner is served 4:00PM to 10:00PM Monday through Friday. On weekends, the Sahara Champagne Lunch is served 8:00AM to 3:00PM, and Dinner is served 4:00PM to 10:00PM.

Sahara Steakhouse Its intimate atmosphere is accentuated by waterfalls, a high standard of service and a menu which features traditional cuisine including prime beef and seafood entrees. Open Wednesday through Saturday from 5:00PM to 10:00PM. Accommodations for small parties are also available.

NASCAR Cafe Driving home its racing theme, giant television equipped with surround sound show NASCAR events, news and sell NASCAR merchandise. There are two levels to the cafe. 20 authentic stock cars are on display. The bar features 'Carzilla', a 34 foot long, 12 foot wide Pontiac that rises to the second level every hour, starts its engine, blows smoke and turns on its lights. Open Monday through Thursday from 11:00AM to 10:00PM, Friday 11:00AM to 11:00PM, Saturday 10:00PM to Midnight, and Sunday 9:00AM to 10:00PM

Paco's Bar and Grille Features authentic, traditional Mexican cuisine with contemporary Mexican coastal specialties. Open Friday though Tuesday from 5:00PM to 1:00AM. Reservations are NOT necessary.
