The Blue Flax is found throughout the mountainous regions in the west. The Scientific name is Linum lewisii and can be found from Alaska to California growing at anywhere from 3000 to 7000 FASL.

In Southern Nevada Blue Flax grows in Red Rock and the Spring Mountains.
