Once
known as Fort Pueblo, what we now call Pueblo was once four different
places, Pueblo, South Pueblo, Central Pueblo and Bessemer. In 1889 these
cities merged to become Pueblo Colorado.
Pueblo
Colorado is now officially called the "Home of Heroes" because there are 4
Medal of Honor recipients from Pueblo. That alone should make this a
great and interesting place but Pueblo has a mild climate and four
distinct seasons.
Area attractions include swimming, boating, fishing, sporting events, a

The area within Pueblo city limits is 44.5 square miles.
