Blythe California
Blythe is located along the Colorado River on the California side. Blythe was incorporated before Hoover  Dam was built on July 21 1916.

The principal business of Blythe is irrigation agriculture and tourism.

The population of Blythe is 21,500 and increases significantly during 'snowbird season'. Snowbirds are basically folks who live in a place where the weather is miserable in the winter months and who escape those places by wintering in warmer places such as Blythe.

Blythe's Attractions
Blythe's main attraction is the great climate in the winter and its small town atmosphere with friendly courteous people.

Located along the Colorado River, Blythe naturally feature river activities such as fishing, boating, and I definitely recommend water skiing there due to the persistently calm waters.
