Red Rock Canyon - Mt Potosi

Mt. Potosi can be seen from as far away as the North Shore Road of Lake Mead and the outskirts of Death Valley. Here we see it from high atop a foothill in January.

In the foreground to the right is the road to Pahrump Nevada which is on the other side of the Spring Mountains.

Mt Potosi is on the southern border of Red Rock Canyon and the Spring Mountains. It can be seen from anywhere in the Las Vegas valley and provides the backdrop for many of the beautiful sunsets that are common here.
